Hi, I'm Jill, & this is how I went from an exhausted Director to building an empowered life rooted in joy and resilience.

I am so happy you are here .   

My hope is that my story will empower you to heal from grief and cultivate resilience for life's ups and downs. Through our yoga practice, we create a training ground for life experiences, building not just physical flexibility, but inner strength, courage and resiliency.

My purpose is to help you embrace yoga living, and discover how to navigate life with grace and strength.

Align with nature


From the tender age of 14, I immersed myself in the fast-paced world of restaurants and hospitality management. I started by peeling potatoes and waiting tables, eventually working my way up to managing restaurants and ultimately serving as Operations Director for an independent restaurant company.

During those years, I was constantly stressed and teetering on the brink of burnout. I often wish I had discovered the joy of yoga and ritual back then.

My turning point came when I decided to leave it all behind and join my first great love in the wilderness of Canada. We embraced a simple life, surrounded by the serene beauty of trees, lakes, mountains, and ranchers. It was here that I learned to align with the seasonal cycles and rhythms of nature, a profound lesson imparted by my partner.

Around this time, I discovered a local yoga class and began attending weekly sessions. I quickly fell in love with the practice, eventually establishing a daily routine at home. Yoga became a cornerstone of my life, providing solace and strength.

When my beloved was diagnosed with terminal cancer, I shared the basic relaxation techniques I had learned with him. Despite his initial skepticism, these practices proved to be a tremendous support for both of us.

My journey through the wilderness and the practice of yoga has taught me the power of resilience and the importance of living in harmony with nature. It is this profound connection that I bring to my teaching, inviting you to experience the transformative benefits of yoga and the beauty of aligning with the natural world.

It was then that I 'upped sticks' to go be with my first great love in the wilderness in Canada! We lived a simple life surrounded by trees, lakes, mountains and ranchers.  It was during this time that he taught me to align with the seasonal cycles and rhythms of nature. Also at this time I discovered a local Yoga Class and began to attend weekly. I immediately fell in love with the practice and also began a daily practice at home. When my beloved was diagnosed with terminal cancer, I shared the basic relaxation techniques that I had learnt with him - &, despite his initial scepticism, they proved to be a great support to both of us.

A path to healing


In 2001, I faced the heartbreaking loss of my beloved. In the year that followed, I turned to yoga and the natural world for healing. Immersing myself in both, I found  powerful tools for personal recovery and renewal.

The following year, I embarked on my first of many Yoga Teacher Trainings in California. These invaluable teachings and life lessons provided the support and empowerment I needed to confront my fear, grief, and self-doubt. Through this transformative journey, I was able to create a life brimming with joy and bliss.


My experiences have shaped my teaching, allowing me to guide others toward resilience, healing, and a deeper connection with their Self & nature.
